Volvo is set to launch the updated 2025 XC60 in India on August 1. Unveiled earlier in February this year, the SUV brings refreshed styling and feature enhancements while retaining its trusted mechanical setup. The XC60 has already achieved a major global milestone by crossing 2.7 million units in sales, becoming the highest-selling Volvo model to date, surpassing the iconic Volvo 240. Since its global debut in 2008, the mid-size luxury SUV has remained a strong performer for the brand.

The upcoming XC60 retains its familiar silhouette but receives subtle design changes. These include a revised front grille with diagonal slats, smoked-effect tail lamps, restyled rear air vents, and new alloy wheels. These enhancements give the SUV a sharper and more modern appearance while maintaining Volvo’s signature design language.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 XC60 gets a larger 11.6-inch floating infotainment system with an updated user interface and support for over-the-air updates. The upholstery has been refreshed to enhance the overall premium feel of the cabin. Key features such as the Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity sound system remain unchanged.

Mechanically, the XC60 continues with the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, delivering 250 hp and 360 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain setup remains focused on offering smooth performance and refined driving dynamics.
