8th Pay Commission pay hike for paramilitary dorces, 8th CPC salary projections: India has a number of paramilitary forces. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are some of them. The purpose of forming these forces is to maintain internal security, border protection, counterterrorism, etc. BSF is responsible for security on India's borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh during peacetime. As all central government employees have been waiting for their salary revision in the 8th Pay Commission (8th CPC), so are BSF junior, mid and top-level employees.
The salary revision in the 8th CPC will be done on the basis of the fitment factor, which is a multiplier for salary and pension revision for central govt employees.
