(APSEZ) will be in focus after the company reported a strong business update for February, with cargo volumes registering double-digit growth.
During February 2026, APSEZ handled 42.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) of total cargo, marking a 16% year-on-year increase. The growth was led by containers, which rose 14% YoY, and dry cargo, which grew 15% YoY.
For the year-to-date period ending February 2026, total cargo volumes stood at 454.7 MMT, up 11% YoY, driven primarily by a 20% jump in container volumes.
On the logistics front, rail volumes for February stood at 52,101 TEUs, up 3% YoY, while GPWIS volumes came in at 1.7 MMT, down 8% YoY.
For YTD February 2026, rail volumes increased 10% to 640,280 TEUs, while GPWIS volumes declined 1% to 19.7 MMT.
Q3 results
Earlier, the company had reported a strong performance for the December quarter. Net profit rose 21.2% to ₹3,053.6 crore from ₹2,520.3 crore a year ago, while revenue climbed 22% to ₹9,704.6 crore. EBITDA grew 20.5% to ₹5,785 crore, although margins narrowed 70 basis points to 59.6%. Logistics revenue surged 62% YoY to ₹1,121 crore, while international ports revenue crossed ₹1,000 crore, with EBITDA from the segment doubling year-on-year.
APSEZ has guided for full-year revenue at the higher end of its ₹36,000–₹38,000 crore range, pegging it at ₹38,000 crore, supported by strong growth momentum. The company has also raised its EBITDA guidance to ₹22,800 crore from the earlier ₹21,000–₹22,000 crore band.
