Adani Ports Q4 net profit jumps 48% to Rs 3,014 crore; revenue rises 23%, to pay Rs 7 dividend

Adani Ports on Thursday reported a 48 percent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,014 crore for March quarter of FY25, driven by higher income and revenue growth. The country’s largest integrated logistics player had clocked a profit of Rs 2,040 crore in the year-ago period.

The total income of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) increased to Rs 8,769.63 crore from Rs 7,199.94 crore, a jump of about 22 percent. Total expenses rose to Rs 5,382.13 crore from Rs 4,450.52 crore.

The revenue from operations rose 23 percent to Rs 8,488 crore in the March quarter of FY25, against Rs 6,897 crore recorded in the December quarter. The ebefore interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose 23.8 percent to Rs 5,006 crore, while the same was Rs 4,044 crore in the year ago period, while the margin was reported at 59 percent against 58.6 percent.

The company has also announced to pay a dividend to shareholders. In an exchange filing, it said "The Board has recommended a Dividend Rs. 7/- (@ 350%) per equity share of Rs. 2/- each fully paid-up for the financial year 2024-25."

Shares of the company settled flat at Rs 1,215.8 per share on the NSE on Wednesday.
