KLM Flight Receives Bomb Threat at Hyderabad Airport: An Amsterdam-Hyderabad-bound KLM Airlines flight received a bomb threat email at Hyderabad Airport at around 12:00 am on Monday, December 22, following which standard security protocols were implemented. The plane landed safely at 1 pm.

According to ANI, a KLM flight bound for Amsterdam received a bomb threat email around midnight. Following this, ANI quoted sources as saying that security concerns arose at the Hyderabad airport. The authorities immediately implemented standard safety protocols, resulting in the safe landing of the aircraft at 1 am with all passengers and crew safe. The KLM flight, arriving from Amsterdam, landed safely, and standard procedures were followed to ensure the safety of passengers.

Earlier, on December 6, Hyderabad airport received emails threatening to bomb two international flights. These emails were received on customer support IDs, and security protocols were initiated after landing. According to Hyderabad Airport GMR, British Airways Flight 277 and Kuwait Airways Flight 373 received threatening messages via email.

The BA 277 aircraft landed safely early in the morning, but the second flight to Hyderabad returned to the departure airport.

"On 6th December 2025, a Bomb threat email was received on Hyderabad airport customer support ID for flight BA 277 (Heathrow to Hyderabad). The Flight landed safely in HYD at 5:25 am. Standard safety protocols were initiated," said Hyderabad Airport GMR.

"On 6th December 2025, a Bomb threat email was received on Hyderabad airport customer support ID for flight KU 373/ (Kuwait to Hyderabad) KWI-Hyd. The Flight returned to the departure airport," Hyderabad Airport GMR added.

A similar incident had also occurred on December 5 when an Emirates flight EK526 from Dubai to Hyderabad received a threat through an email at 7:30 am.
