Bollywood veterans Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor are mourning the loss of their mother, Nirmal Kapoor, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 90.

At the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai, where she passed away, Nirmal was undergoing treatment for age-related health conditions.

Nirmal Kapoor, the beloved matriarch of the Kapoor family, witnessed the rise of some of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars, including her sons Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, all of whom are prominent figures in the Indian film industry.
