Anil SInghvi stocks of the day: Market guru Anil Singhvi shared his top stock picks for the day, advising traders to sell Trent Ltd. futures following a weak quarterly report, and recommending a buy on Metropolis Ltd. shares after strong revenue growth. His guidance combines short-term caution with selective long-term opportunities for investors.
Singhvi advised a sell on Trent Ltd. futures with a stop loss at Rs 4,860 and target levels at Rs 4,780, 4,740, and 4,710.
The Tata Group retail arm reported 17 per cent year-on-year revenue growth, falling short of broker estimates. Shares have been under pressure as market expectations were higher, making futures trading suitable for short-term risk management.

Singhvi recommended buying Metropolis Ltd. (cash segment) after the company delivered a 23 per cent surge in revenue. The stock rose 4 per cent in yesterday’s trading session, highlighting strong investor confidence. Market guru set a stop loss at Rs 2,040 and target levels at Rs 2,100, 2,125, and 2,150, highlighting strong growth potential.
Quarterly highlights of Metropolis:
Revenue growth driven by Core Diagnostics, Scientific Pathology, Agra and Ahuja’s Pathology & Imaging Center, Dehradun.
B2C revenues up 16 per cent; B2B revenues up 34 per cent, boosted by Core Diagnostics.
TruHealth Wellness and Specialty segments recorded 25 per cent and 36 per cent growth, respectively.
The company is debt-free with a net cash surplus of Rs 55 crore.
