Operations at the Delhi Airport are currently running smoothly. In view of dynamic airspace developments and security protocols mandated by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, some delays or rescheduling may occur.

According to the advisory, travellers flying out of the national capital may be faced with longer-then-usual security checks while enhanced security protocols could also impact flight schedules.

Urging passengers to factor in additional time for airport procedures, the advisory mentioned the following key points to keep in mind: 

The Delhi Airport has advised passengers to stay informed through official channels to avoid confusion or inconvenience. “We strongly advise all passengers to depend exclusively on official updates foraccurate information and to refrain from circulating unverified content,” noted the advisory.

As a precautionary measure given the border situation, 32 airports in northern and western parts of India have been shut temporarily.
