Bajaj Auto Q2FY26 Results: Bajaj Auto Ltd on Friday reported better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter of FY26, driven by strong domestic demand and steady export volumes. The two-wheeler major’s profit and revenue both surpassed Street expectations tracked by the Zee Business Research team.
The company’s standalone net profit rose 23.6 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,479 crore, compared to Rs 2,005 crore in the same quarter last year. The figure came slightly above Zee Business’ estimate of Rs 2,475 crore.
Revenue from operations jumped 13.7 per cent to Rs 14,922 crore, also higher than the projected Rs 14,715 crore.
On the operational front, EBITDA came in at Rs 3,051.7 crore, marking a 15 per cent rise from Rs 2,653 crore a year ago — again exceeding the research estimate of Rs 3,000 crore. The operating margin was in line with expectations at 20.4 per cent, compared to 20.2 per cent in the previous year.
Bajaj Auto’s solid Q2 performance was driven by a richer product mix and record spares sales. The company’s strategy of focusing on premium motorcycles and three-wheelers helped offset the impact of rare earth magnet supply constraints that affected the electric portfolio.
