Bajaj Finance on April 29 announced a bonus issue of shares in the ratio of 4:1. This would mean that the eligible shareholders will receive 4 bonus shares for every single Bajaj Finance share they own. Additionally, the company also announced a stock split in the ratio of 1:2.

The company released in results for the January-March quarter of FY25. Bajaj Finance's net profit rose 17% YoY to Rs 4,480 crore. Revenue from operations meanwhile rose to Rs 18,457 crore.

Notably, Bajaj Finance also announced a final dividend of Rs 44 per equity share and a special dividend of Rs 12 per equity share. This would take the total dividend announced by the firm today to Rs 56 per share. The company said the special interim dividend was being paid after taking into account the exceptional gain resulting from the sale of investment in Bajaj Housing Finance Limited as part of IPO listing in September 2024.
