(BEL) has announced its second order win in two days on Thursday, June 5.
On Thursday, the Navratna PSU announced that it has won orders worth ₹2,323 crore from fellow defence PSUs Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and Garden Reach Shipbuilders.
The order pertains to supply of base and depot spares for missile systems on Indian Naval ships. "The spares will ensure operational continuity of onboard mission critical equipment," BEL said in its exchange filing.
On Wednesday, BEL had announced that it had won additional orders worth ₹537 crore since its last disclosure on May 16, which pertained to major orders for communication equipment, advanced composite communication system for ship, jammers, software, simulator upgrades, spares, test rigs, services and other utilities.
The state-run Nifty 50 constituent has won orders worth nearly ₹3,000 crore across the last two trading sessions.
Since the start of the financial year 2026, BEL has won orders in excess of ₹6,200 crore, which is already close to 25% of its full year guidance of ₹27,000 crore. The company had mentioned that the full-year order inflow could cross ₹57,000 crore, in case it manages to secure the Quick Reaction Surface To Air Missiles (QRSAM) orders this year.
Shares of BEL are trading close to the highs of the day at ₹394.3. The stock has risen 25% in the last one month, taking its year-to-date advance to 34%.
