BSE Share Price: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announced its Q2 financial results for the July-September quarter of FY26 on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, reporting a strong performance across core operations and profitability metrics.
For the quarter, BSE recorded a net profit of Rs 557 crore, marking a 61 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise compared to Rs 245.7 crore in the same period last year.
This growth reflects the exchange’s steady revenue expansion and operational efficiency.
Revenues from BSE’s core operations surged 44 per cent YoY to Rs 1,068 crore, up from Rs 740.7 crore in Q2 FY25, driven primarily by transaction volumes and service fees.
Meanwhile, investment income remained largely flat at Rs 65.69 crore, similar to Rs 65.61 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s net interest margin for H1 FY26 stood at 50 per cent, while consolidated EBITDA for the first half reached Rs 1,083.3 crore, indicating solid operational performance and cost management.
Several brokerages have updated BSE’s ratings and price targets after its Q2 results.
Goldman Sachs maintains a neutral rating, raising the target to Rs 2,460 (around 7 per cent downside from current levels), noting Q2 EPS of Rs 13.6, slightly above their estimate.
Operating revenue grew 12 per cent QoQ and 44 per cent YoY, while OPEX rose 14 per cent QoQ and 7 per cent YoY. From September 2025, BSE started contributing 5 per cent of transaction revenue to the Settlement Guarantee Fund, adding Rs 100 million this quarter. Underlying NPAT increased 6 per cent QoQ and 62 per cent YoY, 3 per cent ahead of estimates.
Jefferies maintains a hold rating, raising the target to Rs 2,930 (around 11 per cent upside), citing strong option revenue growth and softer cash segment trends.
The brokerage highlighted that clarity on index options expiry norms will be important for future performance.
Following the earnings announcement after market hours, BSE shares closed 0.68 per cent higher at Rs 2,643.10, up from Rs 2,625.30 at the previous close.
Over the past five years, the stock has delivered more than 4,187 per cent returns, and it is up over 71 per cent in the past year.
Year-to-date, BSE shares have gained 46.14 per cent in 2025, including a 6 per cent increase in the last month, with a 5-day gain of 6.72 per cent.
The stock’s 52-week high was Rs 3,030 on 10 June 2025, while the 52-week low stood at Rs 1,227.33 on 11 March 2025.
The company’s market capitalisation crossed Rs 1,07,653 crore as of 11 November 2025, reflecting strong investor confidence.
