CAMS board to meet today to consider first-ever stock split

CAMS Stock Split: Computer Age Management Services Ltd (CAMS), a leading capital market services company, will hold its board meeting today, October 10, to consider a proposal for a stock split or sub-division of equity shares.

According to the exchange filing, the company’s board will discuss the proposal to alter its share capital by sub-dividing the existing equity shares of Rs 10 each, fully paid-up, in a ratio that will be decided during the meeting. If approved, this will be the first-ever stock split by the company.

The proposed move will, however, be subject to shareholder approval and other necessary regulatory clearances. The company had announced the board meeting details in its filing dated October 1.

On Thursday, October 10, CAMS shares closed 1.43 per cet higher at Rs 3,834 on the NSE. Over the past year, the stock has declined around 14 per cent, while it has gained nearly 54 per cent in the last two years. The shares have a 52-week range of Rs 5,367.45 to Rs 3,030, and the company currently commands a market capitalisation of about Rs 18,970 crore.

CAMS has a dividend yield of 1.10 per cent. The company paid an interim dividend of Rs 11 in August 2025. Earlier this year, it distributed dividends of Rs 17.50 in February and Rs 19 in July. In 2024, CAMS paid dividends on five occasions, totaling Rs 64.50 per share. The firm had earlier paid dividends of Rs 40 in 2023 and Rs 38 in 2022.

CAMS is a technology-driven financial infrastructure and service provider catering to mutual funds and other financial institutions for over three decades. The company is also part of the BSE 500 index.
