CAMS shares fall 7% post-Q2 earnings and dividend declaration

CAMS Share Price: Shares of Computer Age Management Services Ltd declined nearly 6.6 per cent and recorded an intraday low of Rs 3,718.40 on BSE on Wednesday's trading session following the release of the financial results for the quarter ended September 2025.

At the end of the trading session, the stock closed in red at Rs 3,859.80, down by 3.10 per cent from the previous close. It has also declined 24.36 per cent so far this year (YTD). CAMS shares recorded their 52-week high of Rs 5,367.50 on December 12, 2024 and 52-week low of Rs 3,031.05 on March 3, 2025.

CAMS reported weak results for the quarter ended September 2025, with a modest growth in revenue by 3.2 per cent to Rs 376.74 crore year-on-year (YoY). However, despite the revenue growth, the company's profit after tax (PAT) declined by 5.7 per cent to Rs 113.94 crore from Rs 120.83 crore in the previous year, signalling a dip in profitability.

EBITDA also saw a decline of 1.5 per cent, and the EBITDA margin dropped to 44.5 per cent, down from 46.6 per cent in the previous period.

According to the company's official release, the company achieved its all-time high quarterly revenue in Q2 FY26, driven by strong performance in both MF and non-MF segments.

The MF revenue grew 6.4 per cent QoQ (3.2 per cent YoY), and non-MF revenue grew 17.9 per cent QoQ (15 per cent YoY).

Commenting on the performance, Anuj Kumar, Managing Director, said, “It is heartening to share that CAMS has delivered a strong performance this quarter, reflecting our continued focus on consistency and value creation across our business lines. We recorded our highest-ever quarterly revenue, supported by sustained growth in both mutual fund and non-mutual fund segments."

CAMS has recently declared an interim dividend of Rs 14 per equity share (face value of Rs 10 per share) to its shareholders, which translates into a 750 per cent dividend payout.

"The board has approved the payment of an interim dividend of Rs. 14 /- per equity share. The above dividend will be paid to those shareholders as on November 7 2025, which has been fixed as the record date for determining the members eligible to receive the dividend. The expected date of disbursement of the dividend will be on or before November 26, 2025," the company's exchange filing read.
