Tata Capital’s IPO received a total subscription of 1.95 times:

Retail Individual Investors (RIIs): 1.10 times

Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs): 1.98 times

Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): 3.42 times

The Rs 15,511.87 crore IPO was priced between Rs 310–326 per share. It includes a fresh issue of Rs 6,846 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 8,665.87 crore by Tata Sons and IFC. Each lot consists of 46 shares. Proceeds from the fresh issue will strengthen Tata Capital’s Tier-1 capital base.

The initial public offering (IPO) of Tata Capital is scheduled to list on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, October 13, 2025. 

Launched in 2023, Tata Technologies’ Rs 3,042.51 crore IPO saw its shares list at a staggering 140% premium. The stock surged further by 17% on the listing day, taking the total intraday gain to 180%, making it one of the best mainboard debuts in two years.

Together, Tata Capital and Tata Technologies raised Rs 18,554.38 crore, making this one of the biggest two-year IPO sequences by a single corporate group in India.
