Dalmia Bharat says ED confirms attachment of land worth ₹377 cr in old CBI caseDalmia Bharat confirmed that the Enforcement Directorate has attached land worth ₹377 crore under PMLA in connection with a 2011 CBI case.By Sheersh Kapoor September 24, 2025, 7:11:54 PM IST (Published)1 Min ReadDalmia Bharat Ltd on Wednesday said it has received an order from the Adjudicating Authority under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), confirming the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) provisional attachment of land valued at ₹377.26 crore.
The confirmation order received on September 23, relates to a provisional attachment order of ₹793.34 crore issued on March 31, 2025 by the ED’s Hyderabad office.
The attachment stems from a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case registered in 2011 concerning alleged investments in Bharathi Cement Corporation Pvt Ltd. The matter remains sub judice before the CBI Court in Hyderabad.
Dalmia Bharat clarified that the order does not impact its day-to-day operations. The company added it is reviewing the order and, based on legal advice, will pursue remedies before the appropriate forum.
