The company on Monday, July 14, informed the exchanges that it has inked an agreement worth ₹1,200 crore with Petronet LNG Ltd, with an additional outlay of up to 20%, during the contract duration.

As per the five-year contract, Petronet LNG will regasify approximately 25 TBTUs of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually, post an initial ramp-up period, primarily at its Dahej terminal.

The regasified gas will be primarily supplied to the company and Performance Chemiserve Ltd (PCL's) manufacturing facilities units at Taloja for internal consumption, the company said.

Performance Chemiserve Ltd is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers.

In May, the company said it is doubling down on its specialty product portfolio and capacity expansion to drive both growth and profitability in the coming year.

The company expects mid-teens revenue growth and steady margin improvement, supported by upcoming capacity at its Gopalpur project and a restructuring that puts sharper focus on its specialty businesses.

Deepak Fertilisers CMD Sailesh Mehta had told CNBC-TV18 that the company has aligned its three core segments—mining, crop nutrition, and industrial chemicals—with India's broader growth story.

With 22% of revenue already coming from specialty products, the company expects this share to rise quickly, pushing margins beyond the current 18-19% range.

Shares of Deepak Fertilisers gained 5.56% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,658.3 apiece on Tuesday, July 15. The stock has gained 33.12% this year, so far.
