At least four people, including three children, were killed after a tree fell on the roof of a room due to gusty winds in the Kharkhari Canal village in Dwarka, Delhi, on Friday morning.
The incident took place when the national capital was pounded by dust storm and heavy rains, which led to waterlogging woes and several flights getting delayed.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Jyoti. Her three children were also killed. According to Delhi Police, her husband, Ajay, has sustained minor injuries.
Rescue teams, with assistance from the fire department, recovered the victims and transported them to RTR Hospital in Jaffarpur Kalan, where doctors declared them dead, according to a report by India Today.
