The order involves providing project management consultancy (PMC) services and engineering procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for setting up a new fertiliser plant in Africa.
The project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
Earlier, on August 14, the company announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) to provide engineering services for the conceptual design and development of structures, systems, and components of the Bharat Small Modular Reactor.
The MoU, signed at NPCIL’s Mumbai office, aligns with the Centre’s vision of accelerating nuclear power under the Nuclear Energy Mission for Viksit Bharat, which aims for 100 GW nuclear capacity by 2047.
First quarter earnings
Separately, the company declared its first quarter earnings on August 13. The company's net profit declined 28.6% year-on-year to ₹65.4 crore from ₹91.6 crore, while revenue rose 39.4% to ₹870 crore from ₹624 crore a year earlier.
EBITDA increased 40.3% to ₹72.1 crore from ₹51.4 crore in the same period last year, with operating margins steady at 8.3% compared to 8.2% in the previous fiscal.
