The company has fixed March 6, 2026 as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the proposed second interim dividend, if declared at the board meeting.

According to the exchange filing, shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the statements furnished by depositories as of the close of business hours on that date will be eligible for dividend in respect of shares held in electronic form. In case of physical shares, dividend will be paid to members whose names appear in the Register of Members as on March 6.

EIL has closed the trading window for dealing in its securities from February 17 to February 28, 2026. The trading window will reopen on March 2, 2026. The company has advised all designated persons to refrain from trading in EIL securities during the closure period, as per the exchange filing.

The dividend consideration comes on the back of a strong December quarter performance.

Engineers India Q3 results

For the third quarter ended December 2025, EIL reported a net profit of ₹347.2 crore, more than three times higher than ₹109 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue rose 58.3% year-on-year to ₹1,210.2 crore from ₹764.5 crore, driven by robust project execution and improved business momentum.

Operating performance also strengthened significantly. EBITDA jumped to ₹352.2 crore from ₹97.9 crore a year earlier, while the EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 29.1% from 12.8%, reflecting an expansion of 1,630 basis points year-on-year.
