Bollywood actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani is known for his films like FALTU. The actor has starred in several movies and produced some of the biggest blockbusters, like Randeep Hooda's starrer Sarbjit.

The actor has also achieved milestones in his personal life and married his love of his life, Rakul Preet Singh, in 2024 in Goa. The couple started dating in 2021 and have been together since then.

In an exclusive interview with Moneycontrol, Jackky reflected on his production venture and appreciated his life partner Rakul Preet’s support.

The actor was asked about how tough or easy it is to be a producer, especially when your wife, Rakul Preet Singh, is also a part of your production ventures.

Jackky responded, “I have to tell you that I must have done something amazing in my life to have Rakul (Rakul Preet Singh) as my partner. She is one of the most balanced, one of the most sorted human beings on this earth. She never ever expects anything extra also at times when she can clearly demand as a partner, she never does that. And we both really respect each other's space. We don't interfere in each other's work.”

Jackky then recalled his recent project, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, and revealed that the promotion budget was set for everyone, including Rakul, and she followed it without any question.

He shared, “And you would not believe, even recently, the film which I released called Mere Husband Ki Biwi, there was a budget set for everyone during promotions. And she followed that. And I didn't even know because there are teams, they set the budget. I told her that you could have asked me for it, but she didn't budge. I got to know later. I said, if that's the rule for everyone, it should be for me. So she's amazing.”

The actor shared the insights of his professional relationship with Rakul and said, “Actually, it's no problem at all. Working with her is actually very, very easy. We both have decided that we are there for each other. Whenever we need each other, we are always there. Invisibly, we are both there for each other. But at any given point, both of us don't make each other feel that we are compelled to do this for each other.”

However, the actor was asked about his fitness and how he and Rakul both follow it together.

Jackky revealed, “Rakul's dad told her, actually, when he met me, that I used to always worry that you are this mad person who's constantly counting calories. I don't know how will you find someone like this. And then when he met me, he said you found someone equally mad, because I used to be 150 kgs but when she met me, I had lost 75 kilos.”

He added, “So when she met me, I was exactly like her, that I have to compensate in the evening or if we are going somewhere, let's try and pick the healthy meal. If you're going on a holiday, let's work out a little extra in the morning so we can have the dessert. I would say that we both are identical when it comes to fitness.”

Besides this, Jackky also shared an update on Rakul’s injury that she had sustained during a workout session. He also shared how she actually sustained the injury in the first place.

Jackky shared, “She hurt her back. Her trainer made her do an 80 kg deadlift without a belt. And you know, that army person in her, she said chalo kar lete hain. But I think both four of us are, you know, incorrect. But she's a very diligent person. And she's doing her physio and rehab so well that she is back to normal. I think she's 80 percent better.”
