Rohit Basfore, an actor known for his role in the upcoming season of Family Man, was discovered dead beside a waterfall in Assam on Sunday (April 27) evening. His family suspects murder as the result of a recent parking conflict.

According to Odisha Bytes, Basfore returned to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months ago. His relatives reported that he went home for a day out with friends on Sunday afternoon at about 12.30 p.m. However, worries arose when family members lost communication with him in the evening.

Hours later, a friend notified the family of an accident. While being taken to the hospital, Rohit was proclaimed dead on arrival.

Rohit's family has now alleged murder. The actor had just been involved in a parking incident in which three people, Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore, reportedly threatened to murder him.

The actor's relatives have also identified Amardeep, a gym owner who allegedly invited Rohit Basfore to the event.

“An autopsy was performed at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Multiple injuries were discovered on the body, including wounds on his head, face, and other parts. We are investigating the case, but the four accused are on the run," an official said.

Further investigation is underway.
