Final Trade (June 11): Sensex closes 143 pts higher, Nifty closes at 24,141; FMCG, PSU Banks drag, IT shines

Indian benchmark indices close marginally higher. BSE Midcap and smallcap index down 0.5 percent each. HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors are among major gainers on the Sensex, while losers are Power Grid Corp, Adani Ports, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance.
