On the downside, stocks like HCL Technologies, Eternal (Zomato), Tata Steel, Axis Bank, and UltraTech Cement saw some pressure but remained largely contained.

Broader markets maintained their strength with the Nifty MidCap and SmallCap indices rising by approximately 0.83 per cent and 0.95 per cent, respectively.

Among sectors, PSU Banks, Auto, and Realty continued their strong momentum, each rising over 1 per cent, while the Metal sector gained modestly.

Overall, easing inflation concerns and strong global cues helped sustain investor confidence, leading to a robust market close.
