LinkedIn has released its inaugural list of “Cities on the Rise” in India, spotlighting 10 rapidly emerging regions that are seeing significant growth in hiring, economic activity and professional migration. According to LinkedIn’s list, places like Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, and Nashik are fast becoming magnets for professionals, investors, and ambitious businesses.

The ranking, based on exclusive LinkedIn data, reflects a growing momentum in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country. From expanding infrastructure to improved connectivity, these cities are becoming new hubs of employment and investment.

Visakhapatnam

This industrial and technology city close to the coast is becoming the leading employment generation avenue. With the growing technology ecosystem alongside pharmaceutical and data companies, the rise of Visakhapatnam is on the anvil. Transformation gets accelerated with infrastructure in focus from the state government.
