The order involves the supply of all materials required for 28.83 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar (RTS) plants for 14,416 SC and ST consumers. The scope includes solar panels, inverters, module mounting structures, distribution boards, cabling and earthing equipment to be delivered at the installation sites.
The contract also covers installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar plants for each of the 14,416 consumers, to be carried out in association with Enmas EPC Power Projects Limited. The company said the work order, issued through a Letter of Award, is to be completed within 120 days.
The project relates to EPC works and has been awarded by a domestic entity. The total commercial value of the contract stands at approximately ₹123 crore. The company stated that the promoter or promoter group does not have any interest in the entity awarding the order, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
