Gold and Silver Prices This Evening: Precious pair stages mild recovery--Yellow metal hovers around Rs 1,20,716 mark

Gold and silver prices today are showing signs of stability and gradual recovery in both domestic and international markets. After witnessing sharp swings earlier this week. Despite early fluctuations, the precious metals managed to hold firm by the end of the trading session, reflecting a cautiously positive sentiment among investors in the bullion market.

On MCX, the yellow metal is trading around Rs 1,20,716 per 10 grams, marking a slight up of 0.04 per cent. The precious metal faced early pressure, dipping to Rs 1,18,901 at 9:21 am, before rebounding to an intraday high of Rs 1,21,511 around 2:46 pm.

In the international market, gold is trading at $3,979.61 per troy ounce, up 0.15 per cent. Although prices are marginally lower than yesterday, gold has gained 3 per cent over the last 30 days, showing resilience amid global economic uncertainty.

Silver prices today are also witnessing a modest rise in the commodity market, currently trading at Rs 1,46,551 per kg, up 0.32 per cent. The white metal recorded an intraday high of Rs 1,47,617 around 2:47 pm, following a similar trend to gold before easing slightly.

Whereas in international commodity market, silver is trading at $48.08 per troy ounce, up 0.12 per cent, and has also surged 3 per cent in the past month, indicating consistent investor interest in white metal.

Both gold and silver witnessed strong upward momentum around noon before seeing minor corrections later in the day. The market for bullion is showing slight recovery signs right after the gold-silver crash, with the investors paying attention to the global indicators and the movements of the currencies.

While volatility may persist, the current trend points to a steady improvement in gold and silver prices, which indicates that investors' faith in precious metals is renewed.
