However, selling intensified and MCX silver price declined by ₹29,850, or 11.10%, to an intraday low of ₹2,39,000 per kilogram.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: MCX gold rate saw a sharp rebound and recovered all morning losses to trade in green. MCX gold price was trading higher by ₹429, or 0.28%, at ₹1,53,475 per 10 grams level.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: While the long-term bullish structure remains intact in MCX silver price, the steep pullback has pushed prices below major moving averages, indicating short-term bearish pressure and an ongoing corrective phase. Strong buying interest is evident in the ₹2,35,000 – ₹2,50,000 support band, aligned with prior swing lows and longer-term structural support. A sustained hold above this base, followed by a decisive recovery, could revive upward momentum toward ₹3,00,000 – ₹3,25,000 in the coming periods, said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

He believes dips toward support continue to offer accumulation opportunities for positional traders; however, a decisive break below these levels could accelerate downside pressure and extend the correction, even as the broader medium- to long-term outlook remains structurally positive.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: The dollar climbed to a two-week high as fresh volatility gripped stocks and precious metals, while traders counted down to rate decisions from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England. The US dollar index, which measures the greenback’s strength against a basket of six currencies, was last up 0.1% at 97.762, extending gains into a second day.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: MCX gold price is holding above key long-term trendlines and major moving averages, indicating the move is a healthy consolidation rather than a trend reversal. Strong buying interest is seen in the ₹1,45,000 – ₹1,48,000 support area. A sustained hold above this base, along with a breakout above ₹1,55,000 – ₹1,60,000, could revive upside momentum toward ₹1,65,000 – ₹1,75,000, keeping the medium-term outlook positive despite ongoing volatility, said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: MCX silver price crashed 10% on Thursday amid a broader sell-off in previous metal prices globally. MCX silver rate declined by ₹26,844, or 9.98%, to an intraday low of ₹2,42,006 per kilogram.

Gold, Silver Rates Today LIVE: I personally believe that gold and silver prices topped out last Friday morning, when both precious metals reached new highs before sharp selling was triggered. However, if gold rates today or in the coming one to two sessions break above $5,400 per ounce on a closing basis, we can expect the precious yellow metal to climb to a new peak. Likewise, if the silver rate today or in the next one to two sessions breaks above the $95-per-ounce mark on a closing basis, then we can expect the precious white metal to hit a new peak, provided it remains above $95 per ounce without falling below this psychological mark, said Amit Goel, Chief Global Strategist at PACE 360.

Those who held positions at higher levels on Friday morning and are still holding them are advised to book their profit/loss on rebound and exit. Rebounds in gold and silver prices from now onwards should be treated as dead-cat bounces, where the fall will be greater than the rebound, he added.
