Under the EPC contract, the infrastructure company will construct a new railway line between Bahari and Gondawali stations in Madhya Pradesh, covering the stretch from Km 124/400 to Km 165/380.
The scope of work includes earthwork, minor bridges, major bridges, important bridges, a viaduct, road overbridges (RCC box type), RUB/LHS, station buildings, tunnels, track work and other miscellaneous works in connection with the Sidhi-Singrauli new rail link project, the company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday.
Last week, GR Infraprojects was declared the lowest (L1) bidder for the project after financial bids were opened on February 11, 2026.
The project is valued at ₹1,897.51 crore and is to be completed within 900 days from the date of appointment, the company informed the exchanges.
Separately, the company’s Board of Directors on February 16 approved an interim dividend of ₹2.5 per equity share of face value ₹5 each for FY26. The record date has been fixed as February 19.
At its February 13 meeting, the board also proposed the divestment of its entire stake in wholly owned subsidiaries GR Ena Kim Expressway Private Ltd (GEKEPL) and GR Ujjain Badnawar Highway Private Ltd (GUBHPL), subject to shareholder approval.
