The contract, valued at ₹413.37 crore (excluding GST), has been awarded on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, the company said in an exchange filing.
The scope of work includes implementation of the BESS system along with design, supply, services and comprehensive annual maintenance for the entire lifecycle of the project.
The project is to be executed within 15 months from the appointed date.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. The company also clarified that neither its promoter group nor associated entities have any interest in the awarding entity.
The win adds to G R Infraprojects’ order book in the power and infrastructure segment, particularly in emerging energy storage solutions. Earlier this week, the company secured a ₹1,453.57 crore project to upgrade a 60.21 km stretch of NH-56 in Gujarat from a two-lane carriageway to a four-lane divided highway.
For the December quarter, G R Infra reported a 7.8% year-on-year rise in net profit at ₹261.7 crore from ₹242.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue dropped 20.6% to ₹1,694.5 crore from ₹2,134 crore in Q3FY25. Its EBITDA fell 27.1% to ₹369.8 crore compared to ₹507.6 crore last year.
