GR Infraprojects secures letter of award worth ₹2,441 crore for Bihar highway projectShares of GR Infraprojects Ltd ended at ₹846.00, down by ₹19.25, or 2.22%, on the BSE.By Jomy Jos Pullokaran  March 23, 2026, 5:52:48 PM IST (Updated)2 Min ReadInfrastructure company GR Infraprojects Ltd on Monday (March 23) said it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a ₹2,440.87 crore highway project in Bihar, the company said in an exchange filing dated March 23, 2026.

The project involves the construction of a four-lane greenfield section of National Highway-33 from Mokama to Munger in the state of Bihar. The contract has been awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

The company said the Letter of Award, dated March 23, 2026, has been issued by NHAI. This follows its earlier announcement made on March 18, 2026, regarding the project. The execution timeline for the project is 910 days from the appointed date.

Last month, GR Infraprojects announced that it had received a Letter of Acceptance from West Central Railway for the construction of a new railway line in Madhya Pradesh.

Under the EPC contract, the infrastructure company will construct a new railway line between Bahari and Gondawali stations in Madhya Pradesh, covering the stretch from Km 124/400 to Km 165/380.

The scope of work includes earthwork, minor bridges, major bridges, important bridges, a viaduct, road overbridges (RCC box type), RUB/LHS, station buildings, tunnels, track work and other miscellaneous works in connection with the Sidhi-Singrauli new rail link project, the company said in an exchange filing.
