Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has come forward to support her friend, famous singer-rapper Badshah, as he gets ready to release his new song, Galiyon Ke Ghalib, amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack.
Hania did not think twice about publicly expressing her support for the Indian musician on Instagram, even though there is still criticism of Pakistani musicians because of the current political situation.
On April 27, Hania shared the promo for Badshah's upcoming song and expressed her admiration with a heartfelt message. “Banaya tu ne Ghalib. Finally (smile emoji),” she wrote, conveying her excitement for the song's imminent release on April 30 at 11:00 am.
The gesture comes as Badshah, one of India's most prominent music icons, continues to receive significant attention for his highly anticipated track.
The Pahalgam attack, which took place on April 22, has generated a great deal of discussion and controversy regarding cross-border collaborations between Indian and Pakistani artists, making the context of Hania's post crucial.
The region is in shock and grief following the attack, which claimed the lives of at least 26 innocent tourists and injured numerous others. Many have questioned whether it is appropriate for Pakistani artists to collaborate with their Indian counterparts during such delicate times in the wake of the tragedy.
Hania Aamir, however, has been vocal in her condemnation of the attack. Taking to Instagram, she shared a poignant message, expressing her heartfelt grief over the incident. "Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always" she wrote.

Her words reflected the belief that humanity should always triumph and that, in spite of political tensions, the shared sorrow of innocent lives lost transcends national boundaries. Many people have expressed this sentiment in the wake of the tragic attack, and Hania's post emphasised how crucial it is to remain united in the face of hardship.
Discussions concerning the future of celebrity collaborations between Pakistan and India have also increased as a result of the tragic Pahalgam incident. Notably, there have been major setbacks to the upcoming movie Abir Gulaal, which stars Indian actress Vaani Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. As a result, the movie's release in India has been banned.
