In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company posted a net profit of ₹246 crore.
Revenue from operations slipped 22.5% to ₹1,374 crore against ₹1,773 crore a year ago.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to ₹429.4 crore in the Q4FY25 against a loss of ₹117.2 crore in Q4FY24. The EBITDA margin stood at 31.3% in the reporting quarter.
The company reported a standalone net profit of approximately ₹228.3 crore, a sharp rise from ₹38.8 crore in Q4FY24. However, standalone revenue declined to ₹1,330.2 crore from ₹1,428.4 crore in the year-ago period.
For the full year FY25, HCC posted a standalone net profit of ₹84.9 crore, down from ₹178.6 crore in FY24, while revenue slipped to ₹4,801 crore from ₹5,042.8 crore. During FY25, the company secured three contracts worth ₹5,692.6 crore in joint ventures, with HCC’s share being ₹3,471.6 crore. It also emerged as the lowest bidder for projects worth ₹3,966 crore (HCC share: ₹3,513 crore) and submitted bids worth ₹30,950 crore, currently under evaluation.
The company received completion certificates for five projects, repaid ₹534 crore in lender dues in March 2025, and pre-paid an additional ₹134 crore in bank debt. HCC also settled one arbitration award under the Vivad se Vishwas II (VSV2) scheme, expecting ₹250 crore inflow in Q1FY26. As of March 31, 2025, the company’s order book stood at approximately ₹11,852 crore.
