Hero MotoCorp has officially announced its entry into the UK market, marking a major milestone in its global expansion journey. The country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has tied up with MotoGB to distribute and sell its motorcycles and scooters across the UK.
As of 12:45 pm, Hero MotoCorp shares were trading at Rs 5,534, down 0.95 per cent from the previous close of Rs 5,586.90. The stock opened at Rs 5,620, hitting an intraday high of Rs 5,624.70 and a low of Rs 5,518.80, valuing the company at around Rs 1.10 lakh crore in market capitalisation.
The company will introduce its Euro 5+ range in the UK, featuring the Hunk 440 model, catering to both performance and emission standards.
"Hero MotoCorp’s entry into the United Kingdom marks a defining milestone in our global expansion journey. Following our foray into Italy and Spain, our partnership with MotoGB further strengthens our European footprint," said Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp.
"With this launch, we aim to make premium motorcycles accessible for first-time riders and enthusiasts alike," he added.
According to the official release, MotoGB, a Lancashire-based distributor, will make the Hero MotoCorp product range available to customers in the UK, initially through a network of 25+ official sales and service outlets. The partnership plans to expand to 35+ locations by 2026.

The flagship model, Hunk 440, is E5+ and EU-compliant and is engineered for the new generation of global riders, the company said.
The Hunk 440 enters the A2 performance category, with low-end torque of 36.0 Nm at 4000 rpm and a peak power of 27 bhp at 6,000rpm.
The Hunk 440 is equipped with dual-channel ABS featuring large 320mm front and 240mm rear discs, USD Cartridge Forks by KYB, a full digital & connected TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, all-LED lighting, and wide 150/60 ZR17 radial tyres.
The product will be available at a starting price of £3,499 (+ £200 on the road charges) and will be offered in three colours – Twilight Blue, Phantom Black, and Titanium Grey.
As per the official release, Hero MotoCorp is offering a 2-year warranty on every product sold in the United Kingdom (T&Cs applied).
