The LOA, issued on February 16, is valued at ₹154.6 crore.
The contract involves engagement of the user fee agency at Moti Naroli, Ena, and Gandevi fee plazas along the eight lane Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway, covering multiple expressway sections.
The scope of the contract includes the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks and the recouping of consumable items. The order is awarded by a domestic entity, NHAI, and is to be executed within 90 days.

Highway Infrastructure confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in NHAI, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
Last month, Highway Infrastructure secured an order worth ₹328 crore from the NHAI, marking a significant contract win for the company in the highways operations segment.
The order relates to the operation and collection of user fees at the Kaza fee plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada section of National Highway 16 in Andhra Pradesh. The stretch covers a length of 82.5 km, and the contract has been awarded through a competitive bidding process.

As part of the agreement, the company will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, including replenishment of consumable items.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract is for a period of one year. Highway Infrastructure entered into the formal contract agreement on January 8, 2026, following the receipt of the letter of acceptance in December 2025. The company is scheduled to take over operations at the fee plaza from January 23, 2026.
Highway Infrastructure, based in Indore, operates toll plazas and provides infrastructure management services across several states.
