(HUL) are trading lower on Thursday, April 30, ahead of the company's results announcement for the March quarter.

This will be the first quarter that the company will be reporting results after the demerger of its ice-cream business.

According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, HUL's revenue growth is seen at 4.3% from last year to ₹16,350 crore, while its Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter is likely to be ₹3,800 crore, a growth of 5% from last year.

EBITDA margins are seen steady at 23.2% from 23.1% year-on-year, while its net profit may see a growth of 6.3% from the year-ago period to ₹2,630 crore.

HUL's volume growth is expected to be in low-single-digits from the same quarter last year. The number in the previous quarter was also 4%.

Here's how HUL's other businesses are likely to fare

Home and Personal Care business is likely to grow between 4.5% to 5%

Beauty and Wellness segment is likely to grow between 10% to 12%

Nearly 5% growth is expected for the foods and refreshment business

HUL has already undertaken a price cut of close to 3% in the tea segment due to lower prices

Management commentary on demand environment, input prices post the US-Iran war, and outlook on the price growth will be keenly awaited by the street.
