HIT: The Third Case box office collection: Nani starrer action-thriller performs strong, collects Rs 10 crore on day 2

Natural star Nani starrer HIT: The Third Case released on May 1 and is already performing strong at the box office.

According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, the action thriller earned an impressive Rs 10 crore in India on its second day of release, Friday, May 2.

Overall, the film grossed Rs 31 crore in India over two days since its release on Thursday.

With a Telugu occupancy rate of 52.27% across all shows, the movie attracted a sizable audience, particularly in Telugu-speaking areas. As the day went on, word-of-mouth and audience interest increased, as evidenced by the morning programs' 34.00% occupancy, which increased dramatically to 54.87% in the afternoon, held steady at 54.14% in the evening, and peaked at 66.05% during the night sessions.

Warangal had the most audience (71%), while the Delhi NCR region had the lowest (16%), for the Telugu-language shows.

In contrast, the Tamil version of the film had a more modest performance with an overall occupancy of 24.41%. The morning shows in Tamil registered 15.27% occupancy, which increased to 28.98% in the afternoon.

The Tamil version's evening performances, however, had a minor slowdown, registering an occupancy of 19.25%, before bouncing back with a nightly occupancy of 34.14%. The Telugu version of the movie greatly outperformed its Tamil equivalent in terms of theatrical attendance, highlighting the regional differences in audience participation.

Sailesh Kolanu's suspenseful murder thriller HIT: The Third Case revolves around SP Arjun Sarkaar, a renowned member of the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). to a rigorous investigative journey that takes him to several Indian cities, including Visakhapatnam and Srinagar, the story follows Arjun as he solves a horrifying line of murders. Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Sreenivas, Rao Ramesh, and Brahmaji also play a pivotal role in the film.
