The celebration of the festival of colours on different dates across states this year has led to confusion over the stock market holiday.
The holiday calendars of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have offered clarity on the trading break for the festive holiday. The Indian stock markets will remain closed for Holi on March 3.
There will be no trading or settlement activities across the equity, equity derivatives and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments on either exchange during the Holi holiday.
Normal stock market operations will resume on Wednesday, March 4.
