Oppo F31 series: Oppo India is all set to launch its upcoming mid-range smartphone series — the F31 series — in India. The series includes three phones: F31 Pro +, F31 Pro, and F31, which will be launched on Monday, September 15. Designed to operate smoothly even in temperatures as high as 43°C, these devices are built for traders, gig-economy workers, shoppers, and young professionals who require reliable performance, long battery life, and robust durability, according to the company.

A recent Counterpoint Research survey shows that the most common smartphone issues are overheating (41%), battery problems (32%), and accidental damage (32%).

The F31 Pro+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It uses an octa-core Kryo CPU with a 2.63GHz Cortex-A715 Prime core, three 2.4GHz Cortex-A715 performance cores and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A510 efficiency cores, manufactured on TSMC’s 4 nm process. The phone supports up to 24 GB RAM (12 GB physical + 12 GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. A 5,219 mm² vapour chamber—856 mm² larger than the previous generation—increases thermal dissipation on both sides of the device and slows down heat build-up during sustained workloads.

The F31 Pro runs on MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7300-Energy, an octa-core processor with four 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four efficiency Cortex-A55 cores. It packs the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, up to 24GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,363 mm² vapour chamber and expanded graphite sheets improve heat dissipation during long sessions.

The F31 runs the 6nm Dimensity 6300 SoC with two 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores, paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It uses a 4,300 mm² vapour chamber with extended graphite coverage that improves thermal efficiency by 21% over the previous generation.

All three phones run ColorOS 15 with OPPO’s Dual-Engine Smoothness System that combines the Trinity Engine and the Luminous Rendering Engine.

The F31 Series will host a lot of AI tools, including:

The F31 Pro+ will feature a 32MP front camera and a rear camera with a 50MP main camera, paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor with two-axis OIS. The F31 has a 50MP main sensor and two 2MP portrait lenses, along with a 16MP front camera (IMX480 sensor).

All three models of this series will be equipped with a 7000mAh battery. The company said that with 80W SuperVOOC, the battery gets charged 58 percent in 30 minutes and gets fully charged in less than an hour. Wired reverse charging will also be available, which will turn the phone into a power bank.

The Oppo F31 series will be available for purchase in India starting September 15. Pricing and storage details will be announced at launch.
