Ground Zero, which released in theatres on April 25, 2025, marks Emraan Hashmi's triumphant comeback to the big screen. Being the first film to have a red-carpet premiere in Srinagar, Kashmir, in almost forty years, the film has already created a stir.

Emraan Hashmi's character in Ground Zero is inspired by the life of real-life BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment Production banner, the film also stars Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain and Lalit Prabhaka in key roles.
