Poco is reportedly gearing up to launch the Poco F7 5G soon. A new leak has revealed that the company can announce the F7 5G smartphone in May 2025. If you can recall, the Poco F6 5G launched around a similar timeframe last year and if this rumour is true, Poco F7 5G might arrive next month.

Now, this information comes from a popular tipster  Yogesh Brar. However, it is worth noting that  Poco has not officially confirmed the launch date yet; speculation is gaining momentum, especially with the recent certifications and leaks pointing to an imminent unveiling.

Expected specifications of Poco F7 5G

Though Poco has not detailed the F7 5G’s specifications, several indicators suggest it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which launched in China on April 24. If true, the Poco F7 might feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with an Adreno GPU.

On the camera front, the phone may sport a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front-facing camera could be a 20MP unit. A major highlight might be the 7,550mAh battery, which is a significant upgrade from the 5,000mAh unit on the Poco F6. It may support 90W fast charging.

The Poco F7 is likely to run Android 15 out of the box and may include features like an in-display fingerprint scanner and IP68 or IP69 water and dust resistance. The device recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under model number 25053PC47I, suggesting that the India launch could be close.

Price expectationsWhile there is no official word on the pricing yet, the Poco F7 is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor. The Poco F6 was launched at Rs 29,999 in India, and the F7 may fall within a similar price range. However, official pricing will be revealed when the phone will launch officially in India.
