The stock is up for the third straight session today.

IGL has increased CNG prices by ₹1 per kg, effective May 3, 2025. The price hike applies to both Delhi and the surrounding regions.

In Delhi, the price has been increased by ₹1 to ₹77.09 per kg.

IGL had last raised prices by ₹1 per kg in April 2025.

Delhi CNG volumes account for 68% of IGL's total sales.

IGL reported a 22% rise in its standalone net profit to ₹349 crore for the March quarter, beating estimates of ₹286 crore. The city gas distribution firm's revenue stood at ₹3,950 crore, up 5% from ₹3,759 crore in the previous quarter.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) surged 36.6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹497.2 crore, compared to ₹364 crore in the preceding quarter. The EBITDA margin rose to 12.6%, up from 9.7% in the previous quarter.

During its Q4 earnings call, management signaled the potential for further price hikes.

The company is targeting EBITDA margins of ₹6–7 per scm over the next two quarters, and ₹7–8 per scm post-Q2.

Shares of IGL are currently trading 5.93% higher at ₹204.40.
