The decision was likely made at a high-level meeting amid Pakistani military’s growing and repeated violations across the Line of Control (LoC), targeting civil and military facilities on Indian soil. The news comes at a time when the Indian Armed Forces have continued to retaliate swiftly, proportionately and responsibly against a barrage of Pakistani violations incuding drone, missile and heavy-calibre artillery attacks.
