IndiGo will launch daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi from December 20, 2025, expanding its network in Southeast Asia and improving air connectivity between India and Vietnam. The airline will operate the service using its Airbus A320 aircraft, offering seamless travel between the two capitals.
Vietnam has quickly emerged as a major destination for Indian travellers and businesses, driven by its growing economy, scenic landscapes and cultural attractions. IndiGo already operates 14 weekly flights between Kolkata and the Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The new Delhi-Hanoi route will further enhance access and convenience for both leisure and business passengers.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said the new route reflects rising demand and India's growing engagement with the ASEAN region. "Vietnam has become one of the fastest-growing travel and business destinations for Indians, driven by its cultural vibrancy, natural beauty and economic dynamism. We are pleased to announce daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi, alongside our existing services from Kolkata to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Our aim is to make travel across Southeast Asia more seamless, affordable and reliable," he said.
