In a filing on Saturday, the company said the matter has been taken up by its Audit Committee and Board of Directors, who have appointed a specialist law firm to conduct an independent and comprehensive investigation into the allegations.

The company emphasised that, at present, there is no material impact on its financial statements. The complaint, it said, will be handled in line with its whistleblower policy, available on its website.

Info Edge, best known for its flagship job portal Naukri.com and real estate platform 99acres.com, has previously highlighted its commitment to corporate governance and compliance. By appointing an external legal adviser, the company signalled its intent to maintain transparency in the process.
