The subsidiary is an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company, formerly known as Resco Global Wind Services Pvt. Ltd.
On another note, brokerage firm Nuvama cut its price target on Inox Wind by 19% ₹190 from ₹236, while maintaining a "buy" rating. It said the company reported a modest execution in the June quarter at 146 mega watt (MW) in comparison to the consensus estimate of 180 MW.
Inox Wind reported its first quarter earnings last week. Its reported a 134% increase in its net profit at ₹97.3 crore from ₹41.6 crore in the previous year. Its profit before tax (PBT) increased 167% to ₹138 crore, while its cash profit was up 168% at ₹186 crore.
Inox Wind's revenue in the June quarter was at ₹826.3 crore, up 29.2% from last year's ₹639.2 crore.
Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 36.5% to ₹183.8 crore in the June quarter from ₹134.7 crore in the previous year. While its EBITDA margin expanded to 22.2% from 21% in the year-ago period.
Inox Wind's order execution improved to 146 MW in the June quarter, with its entire order book standing at around 3.1 GW.
Shares of Inox Wind were trading 4.76% up at ₹146.65 apiece. The stock has declined 12.11% in the past month and 21.72% this year, so far.
