Upcoming IPOs News: Three mainboard initial public offers (IPOs) are headed to Dalal Street this week, set to raise more than Rs 9,400 crore. The book-building offers are set to mark the return of activity in the country's primary market, following the Diwali week that saw little action in the first such instance since mid-June.
As market participants prepare for the three IPOs during the course of the trading week ending October 31, let's take a look at the issue prices, lot sizes and tentative listing dates for these offerings.
The three companies set to launch their initial share sales this week are: Orkla (Rs 1,667.5 crore), Studds Accessories (Rs 455.5 crore) and Lenskart (Rs 7,278 crore). While Orkla and Studds' IPOs comprise offers for sale (OFS), the Lenskart issue is a combination of fresh issuance and an offer for sale. While proceeds from fresh shares go to the company, those from the OFS route go to the existing shareholders and not to the company.
Here are details about the three mainboard IPOs due this week:
The IPO of ready-to-eat meal maker Orkla India is set to open on Wednesday, October 29, and close on Friday, October 31. Under the public offer, shares will be available for bidding in a range of Rs 695-730 per share. Potential investors will be able to bid for Orkla shares in multiples of 20 units, translating to Rs 13,900-14,600 per lot.
Listing Date: The stock is likely to be listed on exchanges BSE and NSE tentatively on November 6.
The issue of two-wheeler helmet maker Studds is set to hit the Street on Thursday, October 30, and close on Monday, November 3. During these days, shares will be available for bidding in a price range of Rs 557-585 apiece in batches of 25 shares, translating to Rs 13,925-14,625 per lot.
Listing Date: The Studds stock is likely to be listed on the bourses tentatively on November 7.
Eyewear company Lenskart's IPO is set to open on Friday, October 31, and close on Tuesday, November 4.
During the subscription window, Lenskart Solutions shares will be available for bidding in a price band of Rs 382-402 apiece in lots of 37 units. This translates to Rs 14,134-14,874 per lot.
Listing Date: The Lenskart stock is likely to be listed on both bourses tentatively on November 10.
