Izmo hits upper circuit again; shares jump 53% in 5 days on silicon photonics breakthrough

Izmo share rally today: Izmo Ltd shares extended their rally for the fifth straight session on Friday, locking in a 20 per cent upper circuit to hit a new all-time high of Rs 587.55 apiece on the BSE. This marks the second consecutive session of 20 per cent gains, taking the stock’s five-day surge to 53 per cent — a sharp outperformance amid broader market weakness.
The sustained rally comes after the company’s tech division, izmomicro, unveiled a major technological milestone. The firm has developed a high-density silicon photonics packaging platform capable of 32-channel fiber I/O with insertion loss below 2 dB, a new benchmark in integration of photonic and electronic systems. The module also supports 32 DC I/Os, 4 RF I/Os, and high-speed RF performance up to 70 GHz.
“Only a handful of companies globally have demonstrated this level of capability, and we are proud to be the first in India,” said Dinanath Soni, Executive Director, izmomicro. “This innovation validates our years of research in precision packaging and positions us as a key player in the global silicon photonics industry.”

The global silicon photonics market, estimated at $2.65 billion in 2025, is projected to grow to $9 billion by 2030, fueled by rising demand for faster, energy-efficient data transmission in AI, cloud, and telecom networks. With this innovation, Izmo is now positioned at the leading edge of this transformation.
Izmo has been on a consistent uptrend since March 2025, gaining 133 per cent in less than six months. Over the longer term, the stock has delivered multi-bagger returns, surging 275 per cent over two years, 740 per cent over three years, and a whopping 1,648 per cent over the past five years.
From a lifetime low of Rs 10.30, the stock has soared nearly 5,600 per cent, emerging as one of the biggest wealth creators in the smallcap space.
