The Northern Railways has announced that due to non-interlocking work at Jaitipur Yard on the Kanpur Central – Lucknow Junction section under the Lucknow Division, over 50 train services will be affected as they are scheduled to be cancelled, regulated, rescheduled, or skip scheduled stoppages. Such changes will be in effect between July 22 and August 2, 2025.

Here is the list of trains that have been cancelled due to operational reasons from July 29 to August 2, 2025.

The passenger train (51813/51814) operating between Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction and Lucknow Junction remain non-operational during this period.  Each of these trains will miss a total of five trips.

Several trains are expected to experience delays during the same period.

The Darbhanga – Delhi train (04071) will be delayed by 100 to 160 minutes on July 22, 25, 29, and August 1.

Similarly, the VGL – Lucknow Intercity train (11109) may face delays of up to 90 minutes between July 23 and August 2, the railways said.

Moreover, train (19410) Thawe – Sabarmati BG Express will be delayed by about 60 minutes on July 26 and August 1, and the Raptisagar Express train (12512) may run late by up to 210 minutes on July 27, 29, and 30.

Even high-priority services, the New Delhi – Lucknow Shatabdi Express train (12004) are not exempt and will see delays of approximately 20 minutes from July 29 to August 2.

In addition to cancellations and delays, some trains will operate on revised schedules.

The Anand Vihar – Ayodhya Cantt Vande Bharat train (22426) will depart at 7 am, instead of its usual time (06:10 am), between July 29 and August 2.

Likewise, the Kanpur Central – Maa Belha Devi Dham Intercity (14124) will start its journey at 6 pm, instead of 5:30 pm, on July 28.

From July 23 to August 2, 2025, several trains will not halt at Jaitipur station. Here is the list of these trains:

Lucknow – Kasganj Passenger (55345/55346)

MEMU Trains (64203, 64211, 64255, 64204, 64212 & 64214) on the Lucknow – Kanpur route.

Lucknow – Jhansi Passenger (051814) will skip this stop until July 28.
