This takes the company’s total installed capacity to 12,499 MW, of which 55% is now from renewable sources.
The newly added capacity is expected to contribute significantly during the ongoing peak wind season, boosting the company’s overall renewable output.
With the latest addition, JSW Energy’s installed wind capacity now stands at 3,482 MW, solar at 1,968 MW, and hydro at 1,391 MW.
In a parallel development, JSW Renew Energy Three Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of the company, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd.
The PPA is for a 250 MW STU (State Transmission Utility)-connected wind project in Maharashtra, with a tariff fixed at ₹3.65 per unit. The project is expected to be commissioned within the next 24 months.

JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity now stands at 29.9 GW, including operational, under-construction, and pipeline projects. The company aims to scale up to 30 GW of generation and 40 GWh of storage capacity by FY2030.
